Blazing ahead

19 Nov, 2009 08:12 AM
On Saturday the 14th four Piranha’s went way out west to compete in Cobar and again the next day in Bourke.

All four girls did extremely well breaking records and coming home with gold.

In Cobar Sky Holland won eight gold, one silver and broke an amazing seven of their carnival records. Brook Holland won two gold, four silvers and three bronze and smashed the open 100-metre breaststroke record by 10 seconds.

Anna Miglietta came home with seven gold, two bronze and also broke two records while Morgan McGregor achieved five bronze.

In Bourke, Sky won three gold, two silvers and a bronze. Brook achieved a gold, a silver and two bronze.

It was a very hot weekend, which made it exhausting, but they enjoyed it and they were happy with their results.
