The team consisting father and son, Ian and Nathan Woodcock, and Graham Morris were titled Club Triples Champions, after they defeated the runners-up, Len May, Peter Williams and Kerry O'Brien in the final playoffs.
The two-day event held at the Lightning Ridge District Bowling Club saw eight teams take on the challenge on Saturday morning, with each playing three games that day.
By the second day of play the competitors had been reduced to four teams who entered the semi-finals and that afternoon the two remaining teams went head on in the final knockout competition.
Bowling club spokesman and runner-up Peter Williams said it was reasonably hard for a club competition with many tight games played.
"The winning team won the final by eight shots."
Williams said the semi-finals also saw some very close games, with Graham and Phillip Morris having to play an extra three ends because both players were tied on 21 points.
He said in the other semi-final game, Kerry O'Brien beat Rex Skuthorpe by four shots, which took O'Brien into the finals.
