Nobbies Fishing Club held its annual general meeting and presentation in the beer garden of the Hotel Motel last Saturday.
President Paul Weeks kicked off with his report and said overall the club had an excellent year.
The club has 95 members.
The members once again voted in Paul Weeks as president and Jeff Inman as secretary/treasurer.
The committee for the coming year is Tony Turk, Kimbo, Alan Hobden, Rick Skell and Ron Morris.
Publicity officer is Maxine O'Brien, junior liaison officer is Christina Kelly and competition organisers are Steven Kelly, Kimbo and Christina Kelly.
Wallaby Bob took out most of the prizes winning the heaviest cod, heaviest yellow belly and the most points for cod and catfish.
Kimbo took out the prize for the most points for yellow belly.
In the junior section Nathan Claus won the best overall fisherman, Steven Kelly came in second and Thomas Alchin ran third.
The next meeting is Monday December 22 at 6.30pm at the Lightning Ridge Hotel Motel.
At the meeting the club will plan its activities for next year.
