Visitor wins Thursday's pool

A visiting Victor rummaged through the pack on Thursday night to get into the finals, using only a complimentary splinter from the club rack.

He met local Mick Brown in the finals and put him away and the cash.

Word has it a kind-hearted local leant Victor a decent stick to use in the finals...an offer too good to refuse.

Go Dragons!

Well done Vic. Stick at it Mick.

Mick stuck at it and reaped the rewards on Sunday afternoon, after a hard won first round match, meeting Col Gamble Jr in the finals.

Never much in it when these guys clash, so it's always an even money bet. Mick won.

The final of the Open Doubles will be played this Saturday at 11am.

The showdown will comprise the pair of wily veterans Alan Macaulay and Roy Bentham going toe-to-toe with the "colour of money" pair Nick and Shannon Nelson.

Good luck to both teams.
