Eight veterans turned up for the game at 8am on Wednesday. With an even number it was decided a four ball best ball event would be held.

With a neat round of 20 points the win went to Pat Smith and Dave Schafer.

Runners-up with 19 points were Val Boardman and Vida Hanvold.

Chook run

With only 20 players a good score was needed to get a chook on Friday.

Equal leaders heading into the afternoon round were Pat Smith and Sepp Jakitsch on 23 points.

John Mackay pulled up with 22 points ahead of Vida Hanvold on 21, and Cheryl Hudson and Robina Boardman were on 20 points.

The afternoon mob didn’t improve the scoring, with the best being Cheryl Hudson scoring 22 points in her second game.

This left a count back between Pat Smith and Sepp Jakitsch which Pat won giving him the two chooks for the day.

18 Hole Stableford

Thirteen players turned up for the 7am hit off on Sunday. Ian Hegarty won by a notable three points. Pat Smith finished runner-up with 40 points, followed by Col Cooper and Adam Webb on 39, and Ron Canlin and Vida Hanvold ended up with 38 points.

18 hole single par on Sunday with hit off at 7am sharp.
