The Under-8s played well but lost to Walgett 10-6.

The Under-10s played four games against the Walgett Under-9s and Under-10s with mixed results.

In the first game the Strikers won against the Under-10 Wolves 2-1, in the second they played against the Under-9s and also won 4-2.

They played the Under-10s against and lost 2-5 and also lost against the Under-9s 1-2.

A mixed team of 11s, 12s and 13s played well against a polished Walgett team.

Lightning Ridge was losing 2-0 by half time but made a come back in the second half due to some well-directed shots at goal by Damien, Ryan and Jessica.

But the team could not overcome the Walgett side which won 4-3.
