TTT edges out rivals to claim soccer honours

03 Dec, 2003 05:46 PM
The Indoor Soccer Club held its final last Monday night with TTT coming out on top.

Despite sustaining injuries the team managed to beat off the opposition to claim the trophy for 2003.

"We don't actually know how we won," team member Lynette Vary said.

"It was a really close game."

The final score was 2-1 with HR Puff 'n' Stuff just losing out in the end.

The winning team scored trophies and professional jerseys to use next year.

The teams have five players each with four players on the court at the one time.

The competition has been running for 12 weeks and the teams will celebrate the season at a dinner next week.

Club president Reagan Adams said he was pleased with how the season panned out.

"It was a great effort by all involved," he said.

Marty Taylor would like to give a special mention to all the participants throughout the season.

"Without you guys we wouldn't have a comp," he said.
