Tigers set to dazzle in last home game

19 Aug, 2004 12:48 PM
This weekend Saturday sees our junior rugby league sides play host in the last home game of the season.

St George, Mungindi and Dirranbandi sides will be doing battle with our Ridge teams. This is the last time this year our sides will be able to perform and show their abilities in front of a home crowd.

All year our kids have trained hard and travelled hundreds of kilometres every weekend to play the game they love, rugby league. They have done their town proud with their effort, commitment and sportsmanship and all deserve praise.

So this weekend, we the Junior Rugby League Committee invite one and all to our last home game. Our Under-12s and Under-14s feature in semi finals and our Under-8s and Under-l0s have games against strong sides and are sure to perform at their best in front of a home crowd.

Bart the barbecue King will be in full swing and full canteen facilities will be available.

As always entry is free so is the atmosphere, entertainment and top Junior League displayed by our kids.

Kick off – Under-8s and Under-10s 9am.
