The three-day rhythmic gymnastics exams starting tomorrow at the sports centre are shaping up to be an exciting and fun weekend.
The exams on Friday will include a rhythmic judges course, state qualifier examinations, a pivot and balance workshop and Level 3 skills will be practised.
On Saturday exams will be held for the red, blue and green group and Level 2 skills will be practised.
There will also be a ball and rope workshop on that day.
On Sunday both the Level 2 and 3 gymnasts will have their exams and a ribbon, clubs and hoop workshop will be held too.
All girls will need to have their hair up and a leotard on for their exams.
The club will provide a leotard if your daughter does not have one
All students are invited to the workshops and will benefit greatly from Edith Palusos' experience and knowledge.
However while the exams are in progress we would like only the children involved in each group at the sports centre.
We understand that for some parents that will mean some running back and forth, but your child will feel much more relaxed passing her exam with out every other member of the club watching her do it.
All the girls are ready and able to pass at least one exam; many are going to try several. I have highlighted the ones appropriate to your child.
The cost of the exam(s) is $10. This includes the National Accreditation Certificate(s).
