In particular Sky Holland and Peter Armstrong are making names for themselves, returning from the Dubbo City Carnival on the weekend with a swag of awards between them.

Sky picked up five first places, in the 50m and 100m freestyle, the 50m and 100m butterfly and in the 50m freestyle "dash for cash".

She also got third place in the 50m breast stroke and back stroke.

Peter achieved good results as well, despite competing against much older swimmers in some of his races.

He got first place in the 50m breast stroke and third place in the 50m back stroke, butterfly and freestyle.

Sky's sister, Brook is also continuing to improve, slicing as much as six seconds off her personal best times in the events she competed in.

This weekend they are all off to St George to compete.
