The Under-6s played well and produced one goal but were defeated by Walgett 3-1.

Lightning Ridge worked together as a team and showed some amazing attempts.

The Under-8s won their game against Walgett 6-4 and finished the season on a good note.

Congratulations to all who played in Under-8s this year you have all done yourselves proud.

The parent's game was a great game, with Lightning Ridge losing 3-1. However the team was not disgraced since half our team was female and Walgett had all men.

We had a great day and are looking forward to next season.

The Under 11s drew five all after a very inspiring game. Peter showed some good playing from the centre half.

Let's begin next year where we are this year.
