A sausage sizzle was on the go and cool drinks flowed as junior league players signed on for a new season, playing in the Barwon/Ballome Queensland Rugby League Competition.

The committee and coaches were very impressed with the number of kids signing up for a season guaranteed to be full of good footy and heaps of fun.

Sign-ons will cease on February 20, so get your kids to sign up before that date.

Cost is $30 per child and this price includes insurance, club shirt and a hat.

There are four age groups with under 8s, 10s, 12s and 14s available – proof of age is required.

There will be a general meeting today, Thursday February 10 at 6pm at the Bowling Club.

All parents are asked to attend and discus some important issues before the season starts.

We will advise of training times at a latter date.
