Shot of a lifetime for club leader

Sunday was the 'Glengarry Hilton' Trophy day, and golfers played a two-person ambrose.

President Robert Cotten hit a "hole in one".

The winners were Robert Cotten and Una Ballard from runners-up Pop and Dianne Healey.

Pom got nearest the pin on the 6/15 and Robert on the 8/17 hole.

Maude Butta hit the ladies' longest drive, Robert Cotten, the men's longest drive.

Gobblers went to: Maude Butta, Barbara Prout, Pop Healey, Dianne Healey, Robert Cotten and Kevie G, 2.

The ball winners were Billy Boyd, Rodney Prout, Tony O'Brien, Dave Burgess, Maude Butta and Jim and Glenda Maselli.

A special thank-you to Harald and Gisela of the Glengarry Hilton for the trophies and the magnificent lunch. Everyone enjoyed the day.
