Up and coming hot shot Alfie Seaton cut through the pack of 16 pool competitors on Thursday night to bag the prize, meeting Rampaging Roy Bentham in the closely fought final.
On Sunday, Craig Farrow's second time in the competition paid off when he met the formidable Lou Moses in the finals. Craig's form was solid throughout the rounds and he sunk the last three balls and the black to take the dough.
The first round of the Mr Cheap doubles must be played by this Sunday otherwise forfeits will occur. Names are currently being taken for the Nick Nelson snooker competition to be played at a date to be advised. This competition carries a $100 first prize, $50 for second and trophies. The event is an open competition to all members of the Lightning Ridge District Bowling Club.
