The bowling season is really in full swing.
Lady bowlers have competed in pennants throughout the Namoi District.
With 4.30am starts and without the advantage of any home games, it has been quite a challenge.
The girls however, have accepted the challenge and have shown exceptional progressive improvement with comradary at an all time high.
Championship draws have been posted on the notice board and will start soon.
A capacity number of teams (32) will compete in our annual Black Opal Triples, from June 4 to 5.
We expect that no further nominations will be able to be accepted after Friday April 15, apart from standbys in the case of cancellations.
The Black Opal Triples have become a very successful and highly competitive event with lady bowlers making a healthy contribution to our local economy throughout the competition.
Mother's Day bowls is always a great day of social bowls hosted by the men's club.
