Veterans

There was no veteran's game on Wednesday as the boys were away playing and by all accounts having a hard time of it.

No trophies to bring home this time chaps.

Friday chook run

A fairly dismal day player wise for our weekly chook chase with only 16 players arriving and attempting to secure a chicken dinner.

The excitement of the day was that wonderful dream achievement that only golfers can grab.

Yes Nigel weaved his Webb of magic to have the ball fly from the 3rd tee and stop gracefully inside the hole on the green for a hole in one.

Congratulations Nigel on that one, five looks good on the cars and makes a nice part of the 28 points.

Nigel also picked up the win with his 28 points by a massive seven points from Heidi Smith who was runner-up on 21 points, along with Sally Williams and Dave Schafer.

The Earth Jewel Encouragement Award went to a visitor, Cleve Gumley with an almighty 10 points. Well done, I hope you enjoy your chicken chips.
