Walgett played in the Ridge last Saturday resulting in a mixture of wins and losses.
The Under 12s girls, Georgie Nugent, Ellie Callaghan and Kate Moran put in a great effort against Walgett supported by Peter Anderson and Ben Morris in defence.
Zach Stasek played very well in the forward position scoring the two goals with a final score of 2-0.
The Under 11s showed great improvement, thrashing the Wolves 4-0.
Blake Wallis played extremely well as did Cooper Scoles, who scored all four goals.
It seems that the 10s have returned from Gunnedah with a lot of determination and enthusiasm.
They played with excellent teamwork, and good defence all day from Mark Jackman and Aiden Bedenikovic.
The forwards and mids combined well together, passing well.
They won all three games 4-0, 4-0 and 7-1.
Damian O'Keefe scored 10 goals, Lachlan Leicester four goals, and Mark Winch scored one goal.
The 9s played three games losing the first two with scores 1-2 and 1-2 and winning the third 2-1.
Dylan Maude, Geoffrey Lane, Gyle Stasek and Brandon Morris all scored goals.
The 8s lost their game 4-0 and the 7s, down a few players, lost their game 3-1.
After finally getting a date confirmation we now know that the Moree Carnival is on this Sunday.
The first game kicks off at 9am at the Moree soccer fields and if the last carnival is any indication it should be a great day.
All players need to confirm with coaches either a 'yes' or ‘no' by today and we need travel confirmations for the bus.
Other carnivals on the calendar include Narrabri on August 3, a gala day at Coonamble on August 9 and a gala day at Gilgandra on September 6.
