Rex Lehman took away Saturday's sash at the local gun club after he competed against 13 other shooters in five events.
Mr Lehman not only won the main event, the 25 Target Pointscore Aggie Championship, but also came first in the 25 Target Side-by-Side Championship and 10 Target over 25 metres.
Nathan Power followed the Aggie Championship in A grade, B grade Nick Clonan and C grade Reino Siponen.
In the 10 Target over 25 metres event Steve Raines finished runner-up.
The first two events for the day, the Five Target Eye Opener Handicap saw Richard Phipps, Peter Hall, Reino Siponen, Richard Hernando and Steve Warburton all winners.
In the second event, the 25 Pointscore Handicap Cash Divide, Peter Hall, Steve Warburton and Nick Clonan all took a share.
Lightning Ridge Gun Club secretary Jean Watson said it was a good shoot and it was great to see a few new shooters too.
"Four new shooters have joined us, Jennifer Smith, Brett Butler, Craig Dowleans and Steve Warburton.
"We're also happy we have been able to attract three young members and Jennifer is our second female shooter so we'd also like to encourage more women to join in and have a go."
President Steve Dunn said as usual there was some good shooting on Saturday afternoon.
"Even though Rex won again he had some close competition and Peter Hall ended up being the most improved throughout the season."
Mr Dunn said the hardest event for the shooters on Saturday was the 10 Target over 25 metres, because it's at a longer than usual distance to shoot from, so provided an extra challenge.
The gun club's next shoot will be on December 15 starting at 9am.
