On Tuesday July 19 a team of lady bowlers, comprising Merlie McCabe, Betty Le Cudennec, Betty Brouff and Joan Gebetsberger travelled to Moree to compete in the Association Day.
While not winners they acquitted themselves well and had an enjoyable day.
It is with regret that the lady bowlers have learned of the death of Edna Fuller on July 15.
Edna was a past president of the lady bowlers and one of the first women to serve on the club's board of directors.
The date for her memorial service will be advised.
We wish our men's Pennant sides good bowling at their respective venues on July 30 and 31.
A reminder to those ladies who have overlooked paying their fees to please see Joan Gebetsberger for payment until such time as a treasurer is elected.
Ladies are advised that the next general meeting will be held at 2pm on Saturday August 13 at the bowling club.
