Wednesday first round

Foursomes Championship

Kay Hogan and Kath Johnston are comfortably leading the field after the first round, also winning the nett event.

Runners-up were Elyn Nexo and Maureen Pandel, with balls going to Robina Boardman and Laurel Voeks, Jan Davis and Jan Jakitsch.

Second place is wide open.

Veterans winners were Knud Nexo and Karl Voeks, runners up were Bruce Buchanan and Ron Hogan.

Friday chook run

Winner was Felix Monch with chooks going to Reg Huntley, H Pufahl, DJ Dean, J Brown, N Webb, Gavin Thomson, Ray Williams, Alan Huskinsson, Tony Webb, Val Boardman, Joe Popovic and Elyn Nexo.

Saturday 12 hole par medley

Winner was Ron Hogan (on a count back) with Joe Popovic runner-up and a ball each to Elyn and Knud Nexo.

Sunday 18 hole stable ford

Winner was Ron Hogan on 39 with runner-up Knud Nexo on 38 and a ball each to DJ Dean and Pat Smith.

Tomorrow: 10 hole chook run, 8.30am to 3.30pm hit off

Saturday: Medley canadian foursomes, 12.30 hit off

Sunday: Mining and Steel Day, four person ambrose - 18 holes, 9am hit off

Mining and Steel Day is run in conjunction with Affordable Golf Gear, SKF, Bearings and Stihl.

The four person ambrose can include two members and two non-golfers. There are trophies galore worth over $1000.

(Please note: Dowdle Family Day has been postponed until June 5, this is a three person ambrose - two golfers plus a non-golfer.

Wednesday: Monthly medal, 9am hit off.

Veterans: 12 hole stableford, 1.30pm hit off.
