The Ridge Tigers junior league teams returned from Mungindi last weekend with all producing efforts, but no wins on the board.
Under-8s' players Trae Hooper, Samuel Jackson-Bolton, Logan Taylor and Greg Brown played strongly in their game against St George and Robert Lane featured all game.
The whole side tried hard but St George ran out winners.
Next time.
Our Under-8 side should turn it on at our last home game this season.
The Under-10s were quite confident going into their game against a beefed up Dirranbandi side.
The boys were unlucky not to put the finishing touches on the game, going down by two points.
In one of the better games of the season, our players tried hard.
Caleb Bolton (captain on the day) is running the ball well.
Tyron Drew, Lindsay Frizzel, Mitchell McGovern and Matty McGregor put in big efforts.
Unlucky boys.
This side is training well and eager to put in a strong showing at home this weekend when they face the highly fancied St George outfit.
Mungindi proved a thorn in the side of our Tiger Under-12s.
Our side, missing a few regular players, put up heaps of determination and tried hard all game, but fell short in the end.
Top games from Simon Scoles, Daniel Cubby, Max Troutman, Bobby Brown and Duncan McHughes proved a handful.
Our Under 12 Tigers will be at full strength this weekend, with a semi final showdown that is sure to entertain the crowd.
Our Under-14s are coming off a bye and are set to shine this weekend.
Lots of thanks to bus drivers Phil and Kelly Crosby, Lightning Ridge Land Council and CTC.
