Congratulations go to all our soccer players this weekend with reports of excellently played games.

The fives, sixes and sevens had to play a mixed game in which everyone played great; considering they were playing against seven year olds it wasn't easy.

They made it into the finals then were knocked out; a good day was had by all who played.

A great game was played by Logan; keep up the good work kids.

Many thanks go to the Morgan's for donating the oranges.

Presentation day is September 12 at Newtown Hotel Motel, kick off at 11 am.

The eights played at Narrabri Carnival and received first place.

What can I say?

You all just blew them away with your top playing; everyone deserved the first place trophy.

Good on you everyone, you are truly champions.

Congratulations JJ, Declan, Lincon, Jayden, Ceejay, Dominic and Ginte.

The nines and 10s played excellently.

They came up against a lot of hard competition but never gave up.

They played with great determination but unfortunately didn't make it to the finals.

They gave it a very good try, good on you boys.

The 11s lost their three preliminary games and their quarter final despite some excellent efforts by several players.

Well done to Lachlan and Brittany who tried hard all day.

Especially great work by Katherine, Matilda and Geoffrey who filled in from the 10s.

Damien in defence also displayed some great work by stopping many goals from being scored.

The under-14s came up with an overall outcome of third.

Thanks go to the support players from three other clubs, one of whom scored their goal.

Great work from the bustling, tackling backs who the coach was very impressed with.

A great weekend of soccer.
