Good crowd on hand for day of racing

Despite overcast conditions a good crowd of punters converged on Walgett Showground on Saturday for the PJ O'Brien Memorial Walgett Race meet.

In the big race of the day, the $4000 Dick Colless Transport Walgett Cup it was Mia Amanda who took the honours.

The horse was ridden by David Kehoe and owned by NJ Nalder and trained by Robbie Harrison of Coonamble.
