Golfers invited to bring torch to first night event

Last week results

Wednesday Vets was won by Ray Williams with 29 and Ron Hogan was runner-up with balls going to Han and Val Boardman.

Friday's chicken run was won by Kath Johnston on count back with Joe Popovic on 24 points.

Chooks went to Sally Williams, Col Cooper, Ray Williams, Melody Monch, Alan Cameron and Ron Hogan.

Saturday's par was won by Joe Popovic, with Kay Hogan runner-up.

Sunday's 4BBB par was won by Felix Monch and Mal Carpernter, runners-up were Kath Johnston and Pat Smith.

The ball competition went to Knud and Cristian Nexo.

Easter Monday Bowlers vs the Golfers Day was won by the Bowlers 31 to 25 points, with a great winning margin of six points.

Attendance was down to 19 from last year's 43 players.

Everyone enjoyed the game and as always, the food was superb.

This week's games

Tomorrow: Chicken run, hit off 8am to 3.30pm.

Saturday: 12 hole stableford start 9am.

Saturday: Night golf, 3 person ambrose.

So far everything is going to plan, the balls are ordered and should be here in time.

It starts at 6.30pm, bring a torch.

Wednesday: Vets 12 hole stableford 8:30am start.
