Fishing club to hold AGM

03 Dec, 2003 05:48 PM
Nobbies Fishing Club is holding its annual general meeting and presentation in the beer garden of the Hotel Motel at 5pm this Saturday.

The agenda for the AGM includes the election of office bearers for 2004; next year's fishing events calendar; proposed changes to the points system competition and general business. All members please come along and help elect the office bearers and plan for next year.

The presentation for this year's point system competition will follow the AGM.

There will also be plenty on sale - great caps at $15 each; stubby holders at $8 each; and some fishing club shirts for $30 each.

It is also time to renew your membership for next year and a great time to join Nobbies Fishing Club.

Membership is only $20 per adult or $5 per child (under 18) - a great Christmas present.

Members get $1 off the bottle shop price of a carton (excluding specials); 10 per cent discount on fishing gear at Supersave and Mr Cheap (excluding sale items) and entry into regular fishing competitions at a nominal fee.

We have great prizes for the competitions so it is all great value.

Hope to see you all there - to catch up, tell tall fishing tales and have a few drinks.
