Last week the Lightning Ridge Gymnastics Club was able to get a great deal on a roll of rope.

This will allow us to sell ropes to the girls for $10 each.

It is very beneficial for all rhythmic students to have a full set of equipment so they can practise at home.

Obviously if the girls can practise in their own time they will improve faster and have a better chance of doing well in competitions.

The equipment is reasonably priced and there is an exchange system set up that is working really well.

When the girls grow out of their ropes and hoops they may donate them to the club equipment pool and take another that is the right size.

Why not buy a rope or a ball for your daughter this Easter instead of eggs?

All students who don't have a video of their routines please bring a blank video to class and we'll make you a copy.

Dates for this year's competitions are as follows:

o State regional trials at Inverell on June 14;

o North west regional championships at Inverell on September 14;

o NSW Country Championships from October 24 to 26.

A reminder to all students from all classes who are taking part in the Easter display that we are meeting at the Sports Centre at 8am for a final run through.

After this we will meet outside the bank at 9:30am.

Any parents who can help set up equipment would be appreciated.
