The Lightning Ridge Women's Bowling Club presented three women with Super Veterans badges on Monday for their service to the club over the years.
Henny Biegal has been with the club since 1973. She was bowls organiser from 1974 to 1976 and was on the 1988 selection committee.
Trudy Mandelc has been with the club since 1987 and has been a committed member for all those years.
Betty Browne has been with the club since 1979. She was Bowls organiser from 1984 to 1986, was president from 1989 to 1991, vice president in 1994 and 1996 and bowls selector in 2002.
The ladies bowling club also took the chance to farewell Betty as she leaves the Ridge after living here for many years and being a vital member of the Lightning Ridge Women's Bowling Club.
