Jo Strasek gave her final swim instruction for the year.

Jo does this in a volunteer role for the swim club and has taught the masses in a very caring and professional approach.

Jo has also shown goodwill to all throughout the season at the pool and for this reason Jo was given our goodwill best friend of the pool award (individual).

Since the last pool report, we have had the pleasure of Coonamble Central, Walgett High and Hebel State School attend our pool. The behaviour of all students was outstanding to say the least, and this credit must also reflect upon the teachers as well as the schools themselves.

Tomorrowat 7.30pm Hollywood is coming to the pool with Pirates of the Caribbean on the big screen. While this is a family movie it carries a classification of M (recommended for 15+) due to supernatural themes in the movie. Children under 15 must have their parents present or consent must be given.

Consent forms have been sent out to the community. The pool is the collection point for these forms and they may be dropped in prior to or on the night in question.

This promises to be a great night for all families, so it is hoped all attend.

To foster community spirit there is a gift at the door for any person wearing three or more items of pirate clothing and prizes for the best-dressed pirates young and old. The canteen will be operating and barbecue facilities are available. Cost is $3 for the movie only. I recommend bringing a blanket and mosquito repellent just in case.
