The Ladies Bowling Club held their Christmas party on December 5.
The room was beautifully decorated and thanks must go to Betty Le Cuddennec and Merlie McCabe. After a nice lunch the prize giving took place.
Ann Barclay was the winner of the triples, fours and runner-up in the major singles.
Joan Gebetsberger had a good season taking out the minor singles title as well as the pairs and the fours.
Judy Greenfield was also part of the winning triples and fours and runner-up in the pairs.
Runners-up in the fours and triples were Wilma Jones and Meg Morris. Another runner up was Carol Doherty who, in her first year, took out the runner-up spot for the minor singles.
Absent were Chris Egan who won the major singles and pairs and runner-up in the fours; Lyn Carney who won the fours and triples and was runner-up in the pairs; and Liz Collins who was runner-up in the fours and triples. Congratulations to all the winners.
This Sunday 13 there will be bowls for the men starting at 8am followed by a barbecue lunch and a meeting to discuss the bowling calendar for the coming season.
Also on the 13th is the big Christmas raffle run by the lady bowlers will be drawn so make sure you have lots of tickets. This will all happen at the end of the Monster Market day.
Saturday is the big Ham Day and the ladies will be selling tickets on both days. So keep this weekend free.
