15 Apr 10 | The final of the Ladies’ Fours was played last Friday with Wilma Jones and her team of Meg Morris, Liz Collins and Merlie McCabe having a close win over Judy Greenfield and her team of Joan Gebetsberger, Betty Le Cudennec and Ann Barclay.
01 Apr 10 | The men’s club championships are progressing at a good rate with Adam Webb having a good win in the singles against Ian Anderson. Adam is playing very consistent bowls. He won 31-16.
18 Mar 10 | The men’s singles championships were played this weekend. While Tony Lamb beat Jay Morris, Ray Brown beat Frank Williams, Adam Webb defeated Frank Vogel, Peter Williams downed Graham Norris and Stacey Morris got the better of Trevor McGoven.
05 Mar 10 | With six teams from Lightning Ridge, five from Walgett, two from Collie and one team from Goodooga the stage was set for the first big tournament of the season, the Barwon District Fours.
18 Feb 10 | Saturday saw six teams from the Ridge head off to Narrabri to compete in the ‘Friendship Cup’.

The bowling season is now up and running for 2010 with the start of the Open Pairs Night Tournament last Friday and Saturday.

08 Oct 09 | The Ladies Club Championships were concluded last week with Chris Egan taking out the major singles title.
Joan Gebetsberger won the minor singles for 2009.
The pairs was also won by Chris and Joan.
01 Oct 09 | Congratulations to Nathan Woodcock and David Webb who made a clean sweep of the champ of champ zone pairs at Inverell on the weekend, they will now head to Sydney to play in the State.
24 Sep 09 | With the championship season drawing to a close it’s about time we gave a pat on the back to our greenkeepers Adam and Nathan who have done a splendid job keeping the greens in such good order given the weather conditions at times.
17 Sep 09 | Last Thursday and Friday kicked off the Annual Prelude Carnival with the pairs. In fabulous weather and the greens running well it was the locals who prevailed with brothers Phil A and Graeme Morris taking the prize money.
