Both games, the womens event and mens veterans on Wednesday October 28 were once again washed out with rain. Never mind guys and gals, we may get a game this Wednesday with a bit of luck, but the rain was very much needed for the course.
Fridays chook run on October 30 was won by Felix Monch with 28 points on a count back from Alan Huskinson. Chooks down the line went to David Schafer, Alan Huskinson and Karl Voeks. There were only 10 players hence not too many chooks this week.
Alan Huskinson had a marvelous game on Saturday October 31, in the 18-hole stableford event, winning with 47 points. Congratulations Al, that was a super effort. He was six under par which was the equivalent of 64 off the stick dropping to a handicap of four.
Ron Hogan was runner up with 43 points on a count back from Chris Underwood. Balls went to Chris, and Cheryl Cook.
