Kay defeated Joe Popovic who won a chook, on a countback, and the other chook went to Peter Glogauer.

This week’s golf report again is very short due to the rain which caused the cancellation of all games of golf last week, except for the chook run on Friday.

At the time of this report, we have not had a full day go by without rain since Monday, January 23.

For those women who work at home, let’s hope we get a couple of fine days so our men can get outside and do whatever they normally do.

Don’t forget that the chook run is now able to be played anytime during the week (when the course is dry enough) from Monday morning to Friday afternoon, and the results for the week will be announced after the game on a Friday.

Cards and envelopes are in the green tin and completed cards are to be deposited through the slot of the green tin.

Handicaps are in the front window of the club house and please put your name on the envelope.

Next week’s hit off times are as follows:

Chook run all week from Monday to Friday.

Saturday: Hit off 8am.

Sunday: Hit off 8am.

Wednesday: Hit off 8.30am.
