Danny Kapatos won Sunday’s game of stableford with 35 points. Runner-up was Ron Hogan and Chris Underwood won the ball. Nine people played the event.
The long grass and quick greens have taken their toll on the players but the rain will not stay away long enough for the guys to get out and work on the course. In this region it is either a feast or famine.
The veterans only had three players for their 12- hole stableford on Wednesday December 14, so it was decided to put in $2 each and play nine holes for a whole $6. Ron Hogan took home the big winnings and didn’t even shout ( it would have cost him more than he won.)
Sally Williams won Friday’s chook run with 25 points from eight other players. Chooks down the line went to Alan Huskinson and Ron Hogan.
Saturday’s game had to be cancelled because of the rain on Friday.
