Harper wins Anzac Day trophy

GRAWIN GOLF: On Wednesday April 21, a nine-hole competition was held. The winner was Marilyn Sharkey with nett 29.5.

Gav Harper came second with nett 33.5.

On Sunday, Anzac Day, the members of the Grawin Golf Club played for the Bruce Hueston Memorial Anzac Day Trophy, which is sponsored by Sue and Tony Cummings.

Due to rain the game was shortened to nine holes only. The winner was Gav Harper with nett 30. Gav also took out the men’s longest drive.

In second place was Dave Head who beat Bill Bailey on a count back with a nett 32.

President Bill Clarke presented Gav with the Perpetual Trophy. Congratulations Gav.
