Next Sunday, March 7, is the official club opening day. The year is starting off with a three-person ambrose and hit-off time for Sunday’s has been changed to 9am. Please do not forget the new hit-off time.
Get your team together now but if you don’t have a team just be at the club house at 8.45am and you will be put in a team. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Kay Hogan won the veterans 9-hole stableford on Wednesday February 24 with 19 points. Unfortunately there were not enough players for any balls down the line.
Friday’s chook run was won by David Schafer with 25 points and once again there were not enough players for anymore chooks.
Wolf Moosmueller won Saturday’s 12-hole stableford with 24 points and Pat Smith was runner-up with 20 points.
Sunday’s game was a Canadian Foursome which is always an enjoyable event. The winners were Alan Huskinson and Kay Hogan with a nett 66 and runners-up were Peter Glogauer and Wolf Moosmueller with a net 75.5.
Programs for the 2010 golfing year are now available at the club house. They are a week late owing to a break down in the machinery department but better late than never.
As mentioned above, please note change of hit off times for both Saturdays and Sundays at 9am. Back to normal after the summer timetable.
Next week’s games will be as follows:
Friday March 5, Chook run, hit-off 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Saturday March 6, Stableford, hit-off 12.30pm.
Sunday March 7, 18-hole three-person ambrose, hit off 9am.
Wednesday March 10, Veterans 12-hole stableford, hit off 8.30am.
Until next week, take care, look after each other, keep cool and enjoy your golf.
