POKER: On Tuesday March 16 46 players battled it out for a stake in the $900 prize pool. The pool was divided between four people. First place and $450 went to Marko Trosot. In second place with $270 was Jenny Smith, while Marko Palavra won $135 for third place and Karissa Wallace got $45 for coming fourth.
Next week is a free game with the option of a $10 side pot.
We had two players travel up from Walgett and two more from Coonamble who were in town working. Several other strange faces who were in town for a visit also stopped by for a game.
A reminder that next Monday March 22 there will be a $22 cash game at the Walgett Sporting Club.
