Welcome to the darts news. Tommy Stelard came to town with his brother, Dave, for a brief visit. Tommy came to catch up with his old friends at darts. We welcomed Geoff Jones home. We wish young Inekia a speedy recovery. Fred and Del are in our thoughts.
Again bowls kept three of our players away from the boards, but we made do with playing doubles. The winning team was Tommy and Scott. A three-way play-off was necessary to find the runners-up. Ester and Carol narrowly beat Neil and Liz and Jenny and Wilma. A good day was had by all.
Top scores went to Ester on 100. Scott scored 180 for the men. Well done to all players.
Come to the TAB room at the Bowling Club on Sunday for a game of friendly darts.
Names need to be in by 10.45am so that a draw can be made up. Games start at 11am sharp.
