First-time winner gets $600

02 Sep, 2010 02:42 PM
POKER: On Tuesday August 31, 59 people played off for a stake in the prize pool, which was worth $1200.

It was divided into four places.

Neno Nebojsa Bakovic came first, picking up $600. Not bad for a first-time winner.

In second place was Richard Athens, who took home $360.

Chris Sharpley came third. He won $180.

And in fourth place was Mirko Kreznovio, who won $60.

There were three players who had travelled from Walgett chasing cash and there were four new registrations with the APL for the night.

Next week’s game is a free game with the optional $10 side sweep pot.

So bring out your poker face for a fun night.
