POKER: On Tuesday April 27, 48 players turned up to the Lightning Ridge Bowling Club for a cash game.
They were competing for a prize pool of $1030, which was divided among the top four players.
Robert Der came in first. He won $520.
In second place was Michael Novak who won $310.
Phillip Wayne Morris came third. He won $150.
Valerie Vanemmerik came in fourth. She won $50.
There were three players who travelled up from Walgett for an enjoyable game and night. There were also some old faces back in town who called into the bowling club for a game of poker.
