DARTS: With the humidity so high it was a great relief to be in the Bowling Club playing darts this week.
We all played three rounds.
Carol and Ray won all their games, well done to you both.
So they automatically went into the semi-finals.
The quarterfinals were played between Scott and Bucky, and Neil and Tony. Neil beat Tony and Scott won his game.
Carol lost to Ray, so Scott and Ray played off for first and Scott narrowly won to take the win and Ray was runner-up.
High scores were achieved by Scott, Neil, Tony, Bucky, Ray, Patty and Carol. Inekia played really well for a young player.
She held her own against the adults. With more practice and a few years behind her Inekia could go a long way with darts.
Keep up the good work.
We are all very impressed by the trophy that has been created by
Greg of Hebel Opal and we can’t
wait for the next series in the Battle
of the States to try and bring it
here.
We are still hoping to get a few more juniors playing, so if you are interested in playing darts come along on Sundays to the Bowling Club.
We have had a time change so names are now to be in by 10.30am so the draw can be announced and games can start at 11am sharp.
We have spare darts for those that don’t have any.
