Big turnout at poker keen to take share in prize pool

POKER: A whopping 58 people turned up to the Lightning Ridge Bowling Club on Tuesday evening for a cash game. It was the biggest game to be held in Lightning Ridge.

All the tables were full of people who were keen to get a stake in the $1100 prize pool.

The money was divided between four people.

Jozef Der came first. He won $550.

Michael Sharpley came in second. He took home $330.

In third place, was Mirko Stojic. He got $170.

And in fourth place, was Marko Trosot, who won $50.

Next week’s game is a free game.

There will be a special event held on Saturday July 17. There will be $49.50 unlimited rebuys to the break.
