Local girl represents North West in cricket

12 Nov, 2009 11:12 AM
Arabella McKenzie was one of 12 girls chosen to represent the North West in the primary girls cricket team.

The girls played in the NSW PSSA carnival last week at Sutherland, Sydney. They played 13 games over the four days and won six which they were very pleased with.

Arabella had a great week playing cricket as well as making new friends from all across the State. She received the Player’s Player award for the North West team and is very keen to try out for the team again next year.

Arabella said she could not have played so well without Sarge’s coaching prior to the carnival.
