Graham George Mullington
“Mullo”
May 22 1974 to January 9 2002
Graham George Mullington was the first of three children born to George and Anne Mullington.
The eldest son of the eldest son a fact both George and Graham were proud of. He was the first grandchild for Frank and Lesley Corbett, the first grandson born to the Mullington side of the family bearing the surname Mullington.
Graham attended Lightning Ridge Primary School where he excelled at art; he had a natural ability to draw. After attending Walgett High School, Graham completed his plumbing apprenticeship with his father.
“The gun plumber” was what he called himself, as Dad was the gun and Graham was the son of the gun. We all felt Graham was ‘top gun plumber’ as he always completed courses to keep up to date on new and improved methods. It was a constant source of amusement to all to watch George and Graham on a job; they were not just father and son but also best friends.
From a small child Graham loved to ride skateboards, bikes and eventually his greatest love motorbikes, for which, to this day he still holds most local records.
Another great love in Graham’s life was his partner Natacha with whom he shared many wonderful memories.
Graham was brother to Lesley and super brother/hero/legend to Mitchell. Brother-in-law to Shahzad Rana and uncle to Umair, Zubair and Sameera Rana.
Graham was a good mixer who made friends wherever he went. He was renowned for his sense of humour and love of practical jokes, from which no one was safe. Graham always lived his life to the fullest and would want to be remembered for that.
Out of our hands but never our hearts.
