Year 11 and 12 students from Lightning Ridge Central School returned from their excursion to Sydney on the weekend having had a great time.
One of the highlights for the students was the opportunity to appear on Channel Seven's Sunrise program.
Year 11 student Lori White said the trip was a lot of fun and the chance to appear on a television show was a highlight of the excursion.
"Appearing on Sunrise was great and also the chance to see the Lion King was a great experience," she said.
Of course it was not all fun and games for students as they visited many different centres to help with their senior studies.
This included an archeological dig at the historical Rocks and a visit to Westmead Hospital.
