The Lightning Ridge Arts and Crafts Council held its annual general meeting on Sunday, April 14.
The new positions are president Helen Ledgard, vice-president Val Young, secretary Val Tarlton, assistant secretary Mary Schiess, treasurer Beryl Skinner and delegate Gwen Smith.
Some of the items discussed at the AGM included the arts and craft council's public liability, which has now been resolved, and a three-day workshop which will be held in June for the public, which will involve a hands-on experience at no cost.
The arts and craft council is also working at organising more workshops to be held in the future.
There will be a spring exhibition held over the long weekend in October.
It is hoped to start free art classes again soon.
The council will keep the public up to date as more information arises.
