There were trophies presented for participation in the club’s annual carnival, individual age champions, coaches’ awards, most improved awards, most consistent awards and highest point scorers for the 2009-2010 season.

The highest point scorer for the juniors was Lauren Hughes. Oscar Cheal was the runner-up.

Marnie Jones was the highest point scorer for the seniors. Sky Holland was the runner-up.

The coaches, Malcolm Holland, Liz Gauthorpe and Amanda Cheal were also presented with a little token of the club’s appreciation.

After the presentation the children and their parents enjoyed a delicious barbecue.

The entire club would like to extend its thanks to secretary Crystal Mahoney for all her efforts during the swimming season in 2009-2010. Crystal has worked tirelessly in the organisation of the club’s annual carnival, in the preparation for its presentation night and in the general running of the club.

People like Crystal make a big difference in our community and the club certainly appreciates all that she has done for them during this season.
