New school fence set to have many benefits

06 May, 2010 01:45 PM
Last Thursday Ian Harrison from the Lightning Ridge Central School accepted the official handover of the school’s new fence which was built under the Department of Education and Training’ s (DET) Public Works Initiative.

It is hoped the new fence will not only improve the school’s façade, but also deter people trying to break in and/or vandalise the school - something that has reportedly been on the rise in recent years.

William Salter from Bluedog Fencing and Peter Dorsett from NSW Public Works were also present at the handover of the new fence to ensure it was in good working order and to the liking of Lightning Ridge Central School.
