 Enough is enough

Enough is enough

Since buying the Crocodile Caravan Park approximately two-and-a-half years ago we found that we have had to go to the extremes of putting in sercurity cameras and security fencing around the boundary of the park due to an ongoing occurance of intruders entering our premises after dark.

They are only looking for any type of alcohol for their own use and have no consideration for the people they are pinching it from or what extremes they have to go to, to get it.

On this last occurance they cut the security fence - they carry their own bolt cutters -and then broke a car door window only to find they had an empty beer box for all their efforts.

We know this letter will not have any affect on these type of people but if this type of event keeps occuring then tourists are not going to visit our town and then every person in Lightning Ridge will suffer, as we are so reliant on our tourist trade to inject money into our town.

These individuals involved need to wake up to themselves and realise the damage they are doing to their own town.

If they continue then the tourists will stop visiting our town just like they have to other towns all over Australia.

If we catch them in the act of being on our property we will be tempted to let our dogs free from their restraints as we are just fed-up to the eye balls of this happening on a regular basis.

Because even if we don’t know they’re on our property the dogs will know they’re there.

If the tourists stop visiting where will they get their grog from then?
