Easter bunny and bilby lead kids on merry hunt for eggs

14 Apr, 2004 05:30 PM
On Thursday the children had lots of fun when the Easter bilby and the Easter Bunny came to Little Diggers and left footprints all over the lawn.

The children followed the footprints with their Easter baskets to find where they had hidden all the eggs.

Thank you to Kylie Goodwin for making the yummy Easter bunny cake for all the children to enjoy.

They also enjoyed face painting and a lovely morning tea, egg and spoon races and singing their songs.

Thank you to Kylie Goodwin for the yummy Easter bunny cake for all the children.

They had all made beautifully decorated eggs with Babette to give to their parents.

They used plaster of paris and numerous decorations and paint to make them all sparkle.

Just a beautiful reminder of a special time.

We welcome Oscar Cheal to Little Diggers and he has settled in very well on his first day.

Hope you have lots of special days at Little Diggers.

We would like to congratulate Sarah on completing her first Triple P program for parents.

This is a fantastic program and we are very lucky to have an accredited facilitator in Lightning Ridge.

The dates for the next one will be advertised so keep your eyes open.

Reminder that we are open during the school holidays although closed for the public holidays - the next after Easter Monday is Anzac Day on April 25.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter.
