The Lightning Ridge Improvement and Beautification Committee held their annual general meeting on Tuesday November 10, where they discussed the past 10 years since its formation. The Kidz Jamboree and Scarecrow competition will be held again next year.

They were very thankful to Khan’s IGA who helped with laying concrete paths by providing a substantial donation to the committee. Ron, who has been assisting with improving the car park with his machinery and materials will receive remuneration from the Walgett Shire Council.
